I spent my 20’s being old and worried. Now I’m ready to spend my 30’s being who ever the fuck I want to be.

This morning, mid meditation, I received a call from a friend who was screaming incoherently. I was able to make out ‘Metro fm’ and ‘your song’. This morning my song Aching Head was played on Metro fm. This is a big deal for me because my dad worked for the radio station for many years and it is one of the biggest national commercial radio stations in South Africa. I am so happy
Don’t forget that you can get the album delivered to you or you can buy it via iTunes.
I’ve been quiet because I went home for a bit. I needed the quiet time with people that I love.
Something tells me it is time to get back to yoga and training. My time at home was basically me overdosing on love and food.
I was recently approached by the folks at CurateZAR to tweet for them for a week.
I wasn’t entirely sure what they wanted me to do because I have my own twitter account: @BlckPorcelain. Basically CurateZAR is agreat platform to get to know different South Africans; what makes them tick, what do they do all day, their surroundings etc. Every week there is a different person and they share their experience in THEIR South Africa.
I was very nervous yesterday because I didn’t really know what to tweet about, but the followers were all very kind and played nicely. This is only week 2, so its fairly new. Follow @CurateZAR and meet a different South African every week.
Went to go pick up copies of my album yesterday. Marcee and I had completely forgotten that we would have to carry boxes, containing 200 CDs each, up the many flights of stairs. And it was so hot yesterday afternoon! THIS is the D.I.Y life.
Was doing some work this morning & decided to look at the album sleeve. Wanted to share some of my excitement with you. In a few days I will be sending out pre-ordered copies AND announcing the winner of the performance. Yaaaaaaaay!!! He he he my desktop is often a mess (don’t judge)
